Following our gathering on 12 March, congregation members enjoyed going to some of our homes for morning tea. ‘Getting to know you,’ we called it. This was a chance to cement friendships formed in church and to learn more about each other. This complements our monthly community breakfast. Also, we took the opportunity to make ‘getting to know you’ a fundraiser for the CWS Turkey and Syria appeal. We collected $140 on the day plus other gifts were donated online.
